Planning, Space & Development

Planning is responsible for monitoring, directing and overseeing development concepts on campus.

Campus planning involves annual planning, as well as long-term projections for campus development over the long term. This is done in conjunction with the Campus Master Plan, development of area sub-plans, and the Integrated Planning process.

Project planning is the initial stage of a renovation or construction project. Project planners will develop with a client a schematic design that suits the needs of the client and fits with the campus Master Plan.

Capital planning involves analyzing, prioritizing, and approving minor capital work (alterations, renovations, upgrades, cyclical renewal, and deferred maintenance) for campus buildings and facilities.
