Facilities Management Division (FMD) is committed to the provision and maintenance of a safe, health, secure and environmentally friendly workplace in which to carry on its affairs and activities.

All practicable preventive measures will be taken to eliminate accidents, exposures to occupational diseases and risks to personal security.

FMD’s minimum acceptable standard is compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993, and The Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 1996, WHMIS and other related Acts and Regulations, as well as the University of Saskatchewan’s Health Safety and Environmental Protection Policy Statement requirements. To eliminate unnecessary risks, all FMD employees and contractors are required to meet and strive to exceed these minimum standards.
